About The Practice

Kathleen Castillo is a licensed paralegal and notary public, regulated by the Law Society of Ontario, with over a decade of experience working across courts, community legal clinics, and public-sector legal environments.

Her professional background includes extensive experience supporting judicial processes and assisting judges through complex administrative and procedural work. This foundation gives her a strong understanding of how the legal system operates in practice and how thoughtful preparation, accuracy, and professionalism can make a meaningful difference for individuals navigating it.

Kathleen’s practice is also deeply informed by her long-standing work in community legal clinics, where she supported lawyers and paralegals serving low-income and disenfranchised individuals. Through this work, she gained hands-on experience with tribunal processes, ODSP and Ontario Works matters, and client navigation through administrative systems. She brings a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and client-centred approach to every interaction.
